• Round-trip Ticket: In addition to a passport, you must present a round-trip ticket. This is required to prove your intention to leave the country at the end of your stay. The ticket should be within the allowed period of stay in Switzerland.

How to Get to Switzerland

Switzerland has well-connected airports with major European cities. Zurich (ZRH) and Geneva (GVA) airports are the main entry points. From there, you can take direct trains to Bern, which is an important railway hub. Train travel is fast, efficient, and offers stunning views of Swiss landscapes.

• Geneva International Airport - About 1h30 by train from Bern, it is one of the most popular options for entering Switzerland.
• Zurich Airport - About 1 hour by train from Bern, it is one of the largest airports in Switzerland and offers many international flight options.
• Bern Airport - The closest option, located just 30 minutes from the city center. Although smaller, it offers flights to several European cities.

How to Get Around in Switzerland

Switzerland is known for the efficiency of its public transportation system. In Bern, you can use trams, buses, and trains to get around easily. It is recommended to purchase the Swiss Travel Pass, which offers unlimited travel on trains, buses, and boats throughout the country, as well as discounts on various attractions. If you prefer to explore the city on foot, Bern is compact and perfect for walking. For short trips, renting a bike is also a great option.

Its facades, blending classic and modern architecture, captivate visitors. During Christmas, the street transforms into a magical scene with its sparkling lights.

4. Lindenhof: Lindenhof is one of Zurich's most iconic spots, offering a stunning panoramic view of the city and the Limmat River. In addition to its breathtaking views, the site holds great historical significance, serving as a central location during the Protestant Reformation.
