The days are very long, with sunlight until almost 10 PM at the peak of summer. It is the perfect season to enjoy parks, lakes, biergartens, and outdoor activities.

The Englischer Garten, palace gardens, and lakes around the city become full of locals enjoying the warm weather.

The downside is that this is also the busiest and most expensive time of the year. Accommodation and attractions usually have higher demand, so we recommend booking in advance.

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons to visit Munich. Temperatures are still pleasant in September, around 18°C, and gradually decrease to approximately 5°C in November.

Our Favorite Time to Visit Munich

Living here, we think every season has its own charm, but if we had to choose one, it would be summer.

For us, coming from Brazil, the period between October and March can feel quite cold. During summer, with temperatures usually between 25°C and 30°C, it is much easier to enjoy outdoor activities and the lifestyle of the city.

The Bavarian lakes are incredible during this season, the days are long, and there is a wonderful feeling of enjoying the city without rushing.

But regardless of the season you choose, Munich always has something special to offer. The city changes completely throughout the year, and that is one of the things that makes it so interesting.
