The Tempelhofer Feld, a former airport transformed into a park, is one of the best examples of Berlin's summer lifestyle. It is common to see people having picnics, cycling, or simply enjoying the sunshine.

The downside is that this is also the busiest and one of the most expensive times to visit Berlin. Hotels usually have higher demand and some attractions may have longer lines.

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is one of our favorite seasons to visit European cities, and Berlin becomes especially beautiful during this period.

In September, temperatures are still pleasant, usually between 15°C and 20°C. By November, colder weather starts to arrive, with temperatures around 3°C to 10°C.

Berlin's parks look incredible during this season. The Tiergarten and Grunewald forests take on golden and orange tones, creating beautiful landscapes for walking and taking photos.

Another advantage is that the city becomes quieter after the busy summer season while still maintaining a very active cultural calendar.

Winter (December to February)

Winter in Berlin is cold, but it is also one of the most charming times to visit the city.

Temperatures are usually between -3°C and 4°C, and snow is possible, especially between December and February.

We visited Berlin in winter, and this atmosphere was exactly what made the trip so special. The historic city, Christmas lights, and markets spread throughout the neighborhoods create a completely different experience.

In December, the famous Christmas markets are the main attraction. The market around Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most famous, but there are dozens of options throughout the city.

January and February are the quietest months of the year. It is a great time for those who want to visit museums, cozy cafés, and indoor attractions with fewer crowds and usually better prices.
